The Best Ever Reese’s Cookies

If you love peanut butter and chocolate, these are the perfect cookies for you! They are the most delicious combo of Reese’s and cookies and will leave everyone coming back for more. They are perfect for parties or any occasion!

How to Make

Personally, I love any excuse to make cookies and love even more to keep my freezer stocked with them! They are perfect to pull out of you have company, to make ahead and freeze for a party, or if you are just craving a cookie for dessert!

This recipe quickly became one of my favorite – as a lover of Reese’s, I knew I wanted to try to create the perfect soft and chewy cookie that brought out the delicious peanut butter and chocolate flavor of Reese’s…well this is it!

Ingredients Needed:

  • Reese’s miniatures (chopped) 
  • Butter (softened at room temperature) 
  • Granulated sugar 
  • Light brown sugar (packed) 
  • Large egg
  • Vanilla extract 
  • All purpose flour
  • Vanilla instant pudding mix 
  • Baking soda
  • Salt 
  • Milk chocolate and peanut butter chips

Directions to Make:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees 
  • Unwrap and chop the Reese’s 
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars using an electric mixer 
  • Add in the egg and vanilla and mix again until combined 
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients – flour, pudding mix, baking soda and salt 
  • Add dry ingredients to the large bowl with the wet ingredients and mix until combined 
  • Add chocolate chips and Reese’s to dough and mix again, careful not to over-mix
  • Scoop by rounded tablespoonful onto baking tray lined with parchment paper 
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, until edges are slightly golden 
  • Allow to cool on hot tray for 5 minutes and then transfer to cooling rack
Can these cookies be frozen?

Yes! These cookies are perfect to make ahead and freeze for any occasion! In order to freeze, allow cookies to cool fully at room temperature and then place in a freezer safe ziplock bag or container.

How to thaw?

To thaw these cookies, remove them from the freezer to allow to come to room temperature a few hours before consuming.
If you are just reheating a few at a time, you can also use a toaster oven or microwave to thaw quickly.
