Easy and Delicious Banana Crumb Muffins

How to Make
Ingredients
Crumb Topping
- Granulated sugar
- All purpose flour
- Ground cinnamon
- Butter (softened at room temperature)
Muffin Batter
- Butter (softened at room temperature)
- Granulated sugar
- Ripe bananas (mashed)
- Vanilla extract
- Whole milk
- Large eggs
- Sour cream
- All purpose flour
- Ground cinnamon
- Baking powder
- Salt
Directions to Make
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Crumb Topping
- Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl
- Add softened butter
- Use a fork to mix the butter with the dry ingredients, will take a few minutes to form small crumbs
Muffin Batter
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add mashed banana, vanilla, milk, eggs, sour cream and mix again
- In a small bowl, combine dry ingredients and add to the wet ingredients
- Mix until combined, batter will be slightly lumpy
- Pour batter into prepared muffin tin (greased or lined with muffin cups)
- Top batter with crumb topping
- Cook for 24-26 minutes, until inserted toothpick comes out clean
- Allow to cool in muffin tin for 10 minutes before moving to cooling rack
Can these be frozen?
Yes, these muffins freeze and reheat great! In order to freeze, allow to come to room temperature before placing in a freezer ziplock or container.
